dose the new client has an outpost that gives you free unit upkeep like the barracks in the old client?

Actually, the upkeep is A LOT different

for every 100 units there's a tax, but besides from that, it doesn't matter wherever you put your units, your food isn't affected (as far as I know)

It shows upkeep on the management screen but there really isn't any. Meaning upkeep doesn't affect anything its just kind of there. Thats what I was told.

i like the fact there is no upkeep, but that is because i am in a big alliance.. it sucks for smaller alliances because i can keep 200 units on a radar, or whatever i , next to their base and not worry about an upkeep.

the other down side is now you have to worry about mass units on any outpost... before if you saw a barracks pop up you knew they where massing there.. now they have 8 outposts and you gotta scan all for sure.

just my thoughts

Oh yes it does change things. Now you can have any number of units out there in the world.
