Also, staying away from groups of people prevents you from getting conquers, so choose a place with lower ranks and lotz of resources, like farms and etc.
(farm means large amounts of conquers) and try to fight as often as you can.

If they are new they should probably not go out brawling with everyone. They will only weaken themselves for when the big fish comes a long. It is all about finding a happy balance between enemies and allies.
