It is my opinion that admins should not be allowed to play the championship, just like lottery employees ( and their relatives ) or any person working for any company that is running any kind of contest.

It is not about whether they will have access to info or resources, its about principles.

Employees should not be allowed to enter a contest with such high income to the company.

Please do not double post. As for admins playing in the champions era why should they not be allowed? They are part of our community after all and they love the game just as we do? They do not cheat and they receive no form of beneficial treatment when they do play.

I personally do not see anything wrong with Admins playing the championship era. They play with a different account merely as players. Infact, I always encourage admins to play the game because it helps them be in touch with game mechanics. I think today the admins are far more knowledgeable about game mechanics than they used to be earlier. So bugs get fixed faster, new suggestions are implemented faster, newer admin tools have been brought in to monitor illegal activity etc.,

I honestly don't see the problem with admins playing in the Championship at all. Some of the admins were once players themselves, depriving them of the right to play the Championship when they arn't even the admin for the server, is that not depriving them of their principles to be allowed to even play the game? They don't exploit their privileges, they don't influence the game, all they do is play; don't see a problem.

Being involved in a matter like this before, I can say that as an admin it is VERY tempting to play eras like this. They are the eras that define Battledawn, and they are the eras that will be remembered. Many of the admins started out as players, and would still love to play.

I encourage this, because I believe there is no better way to stay in touch with the game than by continuing to play it yourself. The admins that are playing this round have no access to any admin powers over this round whatsoever and are of course under extra strict scrutiny by the admins that admin this round.

It is truly my belief that there are more positive than negative aspects to admins playing, therefore I like the fact that there is indeed at least one admin playing this round.

It also shows they're only human, as our dear Simmen got crushed
